  • Quasi-mono

(Mono Like) is a new technology based on polycrystalline ingot casting, by partly using single crystal seed in crystal growth, acquire the polycrystalline silicon wafers which are similar to single crystal in appearance and electric performance. This technology uses ingot casting to form single crystal silicon, compare with the ordinary polycrystalline silicon, its power consumption only excel 5%, and the quality of the produced silicon is quite close to that of the monocrystalline silicon generated through Czochralski Technique. In a nutshell, this kind of technology uses relatively-common polysilicon to produce comparatively-rare monocrystalline silicon.
